The Kinabatangan River is Sabah’s longest river measuring 560 km and it’s floodplain consists of varied vegetation from wetland forests to freshwater lakes. The Lower Kinabatangan is estimated to have the largest concentration of wildlife in all of Malaysia, many of which are rare and endangered while some are endemic to Borneo.
