Meet and pick-up on arrival at the Sandakan Airport or hotel.
Embark your air-conditioned transport, sit back and enjoy your ride to the world famous Sepilok Orang
Utan Rehabilitation Centre situated in the Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve. Upon arrival, a short brief by your
guide. Then watch a video show documentary on rehabilitation of orphaned Orang Utan before taking a
boardwalk through the lowland rainforest to view the feeding platform. Witness the feeding of Orang Utan
at 1000hrs. Depart to Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey s Sanctuary , the Borneo’s indigenous Proboscis
monkeys, to have a closer look in their natural habitat. Witness the feeding of Proboscis monkeys 1130hrs
at platform B.
Enjoy your lunch before your City Tour. First visit is the Puh Jih Shih Buddhist Temple, a place that you do
not want to miss. It is located on the hilltop overlooking a breathtaking panoramic view of Sandakan Bay .
Next stop is the Sandakan Central Market which consolidates all kind of stalls selling fresh produce to
amazing variety of handicrafts, pearls and many more. Last, visit the Sim Sim Water Village where houses
are all built on stilts and linked together. Observe the fascinating view of the sea and the local fishermen
families with their daily activities.
