| Itinerary |
| Day 1 |
Meet and pick up from Sandakan Airport or hotel and transfer to the jetty . At 0930hrs, boat departs to Turtle Island. It takes about an hour to reach Selingan Turtle Island which lies 40km north of Sandakan in the Sulu Sea
off Sabah's east coast. Selingan Turtle Island is the main nesting area for the Green Turtles and Haw ksbill
Turtles. Lunch, free at leisure ideal for relaxing, swimming and snorkeling. After dinner, prepare to wait for the
Park Ranger to inform of the sighting of a turtle laying eggs. Witness the collecting of eggs from the nesting site,
planting them in the hatchery and see baby turtles scrambling to the open sea upon released on the shore.
Overnight at Selingan Turtle Island Chalet.

| Day 2 |
Breakfast. 0700hrs, an hour boat ride to Sandakan. Meet our driver. Proceed to the world famous Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre situated in the Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve. Upon arrival, a short brief by your guide.
Then watch a video show documentary on rehabilitation of orphaned Orang Utan before taking a boardwalk
through the low land rainforest to view the feeding platform. Witness the feeding of Orang Utan at 1000hrs.
Enjoy your lunch at Sandakan Yacht Club Restaurant.
Depart by boat at 1300hrs to Bilit Rainforest Lodge. The journey takes approx imately 3hrs along Sabah’s
longest river, Kinabatangan. Enjoy the panoramic view and opportunity to sight birds and wildlife of Borneo in
virgin mangrove, wetland and rainforest habitat. Upon arrival welcome drink will be served. Short briefing and
check-in. At 1600hrs join a river cruise in search of endemic Proboscis Monkeys, different of birds and other
wildlife along the river bank. Return to lodge. Free at leisure. Dinner.
You may (optional tour-price not included in package) take a night cruise in search of nocturnal animals and
birds. Remember to look up at the clear, dark sky of Kinabatangan River, identify the constellations above you
and make a wish or two.

| Day 3 |
OPTIONAL-Today you have a choice to start your day with an Early Morning Cruise or Jungle Trek to OxBow
Lake for bird watching. After your morning exploration return to lodge, freshen up and enjoy your late breakfast at
Bilit Restaurant. Free at leisure. Lunch at Bilit Restaurant. At 1600hrs join a river cruise in search of more species
primates and wildlife along the Kinabatangan River bank.
Overnight at Bilit Rainforest Lodge.

| Day 4 |
A – Gomantong Caves
After breakfast. Check-out. Return to Sandakan an approximately 2.5hrs drive through rustic countryside
studded with villages. En-route to Gomantong Caves located in the heartland of the Gomantong Forest
Reserve, a home of millions bats and swiftlets. Explore the biggest bird’s nest cave in Sabah and the bestmanaged
edible birds’ nest.
Enjoy your lunch before transfer and drop-off at Sandakan Airport or Hotel.

B – City Tour
After breakfast. Check-out. Return to Sandakan an approximately 2.5hrs drive through rustic country side studded
with villages .Proceed to City tour. First visit is the Puh Jih Shih Buddhist Temple, a place that you do not want to
miss. It is located on the hilltop overlooking a breathtaking panoramic view of Sandakan Bay . Next stop is the
Sandakan Central Market which consolidates all kind of stalls selling fresh produce to amazing variety of
handicrafts, pearls and many more. Last, visit the Sim Sim Water Village where houses are all built on stilts and
linked together. Observe the fascinating view of the sea and the local fishermen families with their daily activities.
Enjoy your lunch before transfer and drop-off at Sandakan Airport or Hotel.
